MachineHarbor ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Melvin Strandberg, a sole proprietorship based in Sweden. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share information when you use getmachineharbor.com.

• Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, company name, and details about your equipment (type, make, model, year, hours, condition, location/ZIP code, selling timeline, loan status, asking price and photos).
• Dealer information: if you request a call as a dealer, we collect your name, company, contact details and buying preferences.
• Automatic information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the ad or link that brought you to our site (for example UTM parameters). We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to measure and improve our advertising.

2. How we use your information

• To connect you with equipment dealers and buyers who may be interested in your equipment.
• To contact you about your request by phone, text message or email.
• To operate, maintain and improve our website and services.
• To measure the performance of our advertising.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or misuse.

3. How we share your information

• With equipment dealers and buyers: when you submit our form and give your consent, we share your contact details and equipment information with one or more dealers or buyers in our network so they can contact you about your equipment. These companies use your information under their own privacy policies.
• With service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, databases, email and advertising platforms (for example Meta). They may only use your information to provide services to us.
• When required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

We do not sell your information to data brokers.

4. Text messages and calls

By submitting our form and checking the consent box, you agree that MachineHarbor and the dealers and buyers we connect you with may contact you by phone, text message or email, including by automated means. Consent is not required to make a sale. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop contacting you by emailing us.

5. How long we keep information

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because we are based in Sweden, we process personal information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and you may also file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
